Proud to be part of India’s Founding Cohort for AI Literacy

Recently, at the launch of the Humain AI Literacy Mission (HAILM) at Bharat Mandapam, The Heritage School Rohini was honoured to be the member of its Founding Cohort, among the first schools in the country to pilot this landmark initiative.

HAILM brings an age-appropriate curriculum for Grades 3 to 12, live sessions, an LMS, video lessons, interactive activities, teacher development, policy resources and classroom-ready learning materials, with foundational-level learning available free, to help schools adopt AI education systematically and broaden access across geographies.

Over the past few weeks, our teachers and students have had the privilege of engaging with HAILM’s structured, age-appropriate approach to AI education, moving beyond simply using AI to genuinely understanding it: its possibilities, its limitations, and the responsibility that comes with it. This pilot reflects something we hold close to our institutional ethos — a genuine commitment to staying ahead of the curve for the sake of our teachers and students alike, embracing meaningful innovation without losing sight of the empathy, curiosity, and human connection that education is truly built on.

The launch was graced by Shri Ashish Sood, Minister of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, as Chief Guest, who spoke about preparing students and educators to engage with AI safely, thoughtfully, and with confidence.

At Heritage, we believe that preparing children for an AI-enabled future isn’t about choosing between technology and the human touch, it’s about holding both together.

We’re proud to have witnessed the beginning of this mission and prouder still to be shaping it, one classroom at a time.
