Competing on a Global Stage

Scholars competed alongside peers from across the world in intellectually rigorous events including the Scholar's Challenge, Collaborative Writing, Team Debate and the exhilarating Scholar's Bowl. The competition encouraged participants to explore complex global themes through the lens of science, history, literature, social studies, music, arts and current affairs, fostering both critical inquiry and creative thinking.

Friendship Beyond Borders

Beyond the competitive events, students experienced the hallmark WSC atmosphere of collaboration, curiosity and friendship beyond borders through thoughtfully curated activities such as Scholar's Scavenge, where scholars teamed up with 14 fellow scholars from up to 14 other countries to undertake a series of quirky challenges, and Scholar's Fair, where schools set up booths representing their countries to celebrate the diversity of origins. The delegation demonstrated remarkable perseverance, teamwork, intellectual courage and sportsmanship throughout the event.

Key Learnings & Outcomes

Participation in the Global Round provided students with invaluable opportunities to develop competencies that extend well beyond academic achievement.
