AARAMBH is the Teacher Induction Programme designed to welcome all new educators and staff members who join The Heritage School, Rohini. the program focusses on developing Mindful Personal Leadership along with the Core philosophy around learning and pedagogical practices. The 4 day programme captures a two day residential session offering an opportunity for the participants to dive into aspects on self, while the other two days take them through an understanding of the school culture, values and core practices. the process inducts the participants into the organisation through experiences that facilitate self reflection and collaboration through a deep human connect.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Physical Education Department, promoting excellence, inclusion, wellbeing, and lifelong participation in physical activity
  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance a Physical Literacy-based Physical Education curriculum for Classes I–XII in alignment with CBSE guidelines, NEP 2020, and the school's experiential learning philosophy
  • Lead, mentor, and build the capacity of the PE team through instructional coaching, professional development, and collaborative planning
  • Demonstrate exemplary teaching by leading practical PE lessons as required, modelling effective pedagogy, classroom management, and best practices for teachers
  • Plan and oversee the school's sports programme, including Sports Days, inter-house events, inter-school competitions, CBSE tournaments, and student talent development pathways
  • Ensure effective management of sports facilities, equipment, budgets, safety, and compliance with school policies and statutory requirements

Qualifications & experience

  • Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) from a recognised university (mandatory)
  • Minimum 7 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a K–12 school
  • Proven experience in curriculum leadership, school sports administration, and organising large-scale sporting events
  • Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum, NEP 2020, contemporary Physical Education pedagogy, and experiential learning
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and lead practical PE lessons while mentoring teachers through instructional modelling
  • Relevant certifications in coaching, officiating, first aid, child safeguarding, Physical Literacy, or sports management will be an added advantage

We are looking for a creative and nurturing art educator who can cultivate visual thinking, aesthetic sensibility, and self-expression in learners across Classes VI–XII.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach Drawing, Painting, and Visual Arts to students of Classes VI–XII as per the CBSE curriculum and National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines
  • Plan engaging and age-appropriate lessons that develop creativity, observation, imagination, and technical skills
  • Introduce students to a variety of artistic mediums, including pencil sketching, watercolour, poster colour, acrylics, charcoal, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay modelling (where applicable)

  • Strong understanding of the CBSE Art Education curriculum and assessment practices
  • Experience in preparing students for board practicals, exhibitions, and competitions
  • Familiarity with portfolio assessment and documentation
  • Basic knowledge of digital art tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Procreate, or similar software) will be an added advantage
