At Heritage, parents are not visitors to the ecosystem — they are co-authors of it. Parents-as-partners is a philosophy we practise in the ordinary texture of school life: parents who chaperon field trips, walk into classrooms as subject experts and guest speakers, volunteer as storytellers, and step in as grandparents passing on tradition. Woven this closely into the curriculum and beyond it, home and school stop being two separate worlds — together they become one living curriculum, where learning doesn't end at the classroom door but carries on into life.

We also know that no one is born knowing how to parent — it is learned the way most important things are, through trial, error, and time. So the Heritage parent is invited into an ongoing continuum of learning and unlearning alongside us. Alongside academic support, we curate professionally facilitated workshops and sessions on the things that matter just as much — helping parents understand their child a little better, one stage at a time.

Empathetic, and alert to the world their children are growing up into, Heritage parents are the pillars who help us raise children who think deeply, act with integrity, and live with intention. They are our co-architects in building an educational experience where doing well is never separated from being well.

This partnership is also given formal shape through our Parent Teacher Association (PTA), which meets regularly to bring parent perspective directly into the conversation on what matters in education — and to create real, ongoing opportunities for parents to shape how our practices evolve.
